Biography

Marina del Sol received her Ph.D. from the Américo Paredes Center for Cultural Studies at The University of Texas at Austin.  She also holds a B.A. in interdisciplinary studies from the University of California, Berkeley.  Currently, she is a Master Instructor in the English Department at Howard University.  As a faculty member at Howard University, she teaches critical writing courses that cultivate the skills students need for civic engagement.
