Biography

Dr. Kidd Telemaque is currently the Director of the Center for Financial Excellence at Howard University School of Business. In this role, he guides a team of academics, practicing professionals, and research associates toward the center’s mandate of increasing diversity within the financial services industry—particularly in private equity, portfolio management, investment banking, turnaround and restructuring, and wealth management. In addition to this role, he serves as an adjunct faculty member instructing several courses including Intermediate Microeconomics, Intermediate Macroeconomics, International Economics, Global Management Consulting, and African Systems of Thought. He is also a recipient of the African Business Fellowship, where he was responsible for assessing and evaluating key components of the largest steel roofing manufacturer in Kenya.

Dr. Kidd Telemaque holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from University of Michigan; Masters of Business Administration (Finance) and Doctor of Philosophy (Public Policy and Economic Development) from Howard University.
