Biography
Dr. Yuvay Meyers Ferguson is an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at Howard University’s School of Business. She has served as the Department of Marketing Chair and Assistant Dean during her tenure at the University. Classes she has taught include Brand Management, Marketing Communications, Consumer Behavior and Marketing Strategy, to name a few. Dr. Ferguson graduated with honors from Howard University with a Bachelors degree in International Business Marketing and then went on to American University to obtain a Masters Degree in Strategic Communications. Dr. Ferguson completed her Ph.D. in Advertising at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests focus on representation of Blacks, Millennials and Gen Z in advertising and their consumer behavior in the marketplace and workforce. And her consulting interests largely focuses on helping companies create a culture optimized for today’s multigenerational workforce in a way that keeps employees engaged and motivated through learning and development.
