Yuvay Meyers Ferguson

Dr. Yuvay Meyers Ferguson is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Howard University’s School of Business. She has served as the Department of Marketing Chair and Assistant Dean during her tenure at the University. Classes she has taught include Brand Management, Marketing Communications, Consumer Behavior and Marketing Strategy, to name a few. Dr. Ferguson graduated with honors from Howard University with a Bachelors degree in International Business Marketing and then went on to American University to obtain a Masters Degree in Public Communications. Before returning to graduate school, she worked in advertising for a couple of years with clients such as the American Red Cross and BellSouth. Dr. Ferguson completed her Ph.D. in Advertising at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests focus on representation of Blacks and Millennials in advertising and their consumer behavior in the marketplace.
