Biography

Dr. Bill Hu is Associate Professor of Finance and Department Chair at Howard University. His research spans pricing strategies, market microstructure, fintech, entrepreneurship, corporate and behavioral finance. Dr. Hu has received multiple research awards for his contributions to the field including an outstanding paper award from the Journal of Financial Research. A recipient of the Excellence in Teaching award, Dr. Hu keeps his courses current and relevant through industry engagement, consulting with big corporations, small businesses, universities, and nonprofits on finance and technology topics. Dr. Hu is committed to volunteering, advising student research teams, and serving on nonprofit boards.
