Biography

I recently moved to DC from NY to join the Howard community. Although I lived in NY for many years, I grew up in Haiti. After graduating from high school in Haiti, I came back to the US to attend college at Hofstra University. Later on, I received my master's in international education at NYU.  I have worked for many years in the field of international education. My experience includes the Institute of International Education, administering the Fulbright Program and the South African Education Program, The Juilliard School and Felician University. I love working with international students and learning about their backgrounds. I also love to travel and experience new cultures. As an international student advisor, I will be working as a DSO and ARO to administer the F-1 and J-1 programs and support international students and scholars with their immigration needs. I am also here to answer questions from staff and faculty regarding immigration. In addition, my role is to support the international community in any way that I can; this may include adjustment to life in the US, how to locate necessary resources or just listen if needed.
