Biography

Mr. Seckinger has been an adjunct lecturer at Howard since 2020 teaching courses within his professional specialty of structural engineering. Outside the classroom, he is the Regional Director Northeast of a national engineering firm leading structural engineering operations and client development in this area. An experienced structural engineer, he specializes in large, complex projects including major healthcare, cultural, and international developments.  In his project work, he is committed to leveraging collaborative working relationships, innovative processes, new applications of technology, and intentional lean practices to enable best-for-project solutions. He is a licensed professional engineer in several states including New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Texas, Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.
