Khady Diene holds a Ph.D in contemporary francophone literature of Africa and the Caribbean. Her research focuses on how Senghorian universalism has influenced the world-views of contemporary mondiale authors as well as the concept of Tout-monde. Khady analyzes how the phenomenon of travel, with its relation to globalization and the universal ideas about the human condition, proves that Senghorian universalism is atemporal.
