Biography

Dr. Osinachi Ajoku is currently an assistant professor of Atmospheric Science at Howard University. Before joining Howard, he was an Advanced Study Program postdoctoral fellow at the National Center for Atmospheric research (NCAR) where he worked with colleagues in the Atmospheric Chemistry Observations and Modeling (ACOM) division. As his time as a postdoc, he learned the intricacies of successfully running a climate model. His current research focuses on the multiple impacts that aerosols have on Earth’s climate atmospheric composition by utilizing both observations and climate models. In addition to academic endeavors, he participates in Ocean corps, a group of international scientists that deliver a wide range of scientific products and is a voice for increasing diversity and representation of underrepresented peoples within academia.

We are currently recruiting masters, PhD(U.S. citizens only) and postdoctoral fellows to work on various DOE-sponsored grants.
