Biography

Dr. Nélida Devesa-Gómez earnt her Ph.D. in Spanish Literature at the University of Maryland in 2022. Her research focuses on the Spanish Republican exile in the United States after the Spanish Civil War, specifically, in memoirs, autobiographical fiction and identity. She has published articles and chapters in Exile and Transatlantic Studies volumes and journals. She is also interested in gender and visual arts.
