Biography

Alfred is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Howard University.  He is a computational physicist with over 20 years of experience at HU and is currently on a 3 year fellowship with the Department of Defense (Navy).  His research foci over the last few years have included space science, experimental nuclear physics, and plasma physics.  As a faculty member at Howard, Alfred has also served both the university and its community as an active member of the Howard University Faculty Senate - most recently as Chairperson.
