Biography

Lennon N. Jackson, M.Ed., MSW currently serves as the Chief of Operations for the Division of Student Affairs in the Office of the Senior Vice President for Student Affairs at Howard University in Washington DC. She is a versatile and dedicated student affairs professional with more than 25 years' experience working in Student Activities, Greek Affairs, Student Leadership Development, Organizational Management and Evaluation, Advising, Diversity, Intersectionality & Multicultural Affairs.  

She has worked at Howard University, Cornell University, University of Delaware, South Dakota State University, Montclair State University in New Jersey, Phillips School in Laurel, MD and the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency, Re-Entry and Sanctions Center in Washington, DC.  

Her roles have included serving as Dean of Student Life and Activities, Director of Student Activities, Assistant Dean of Students for Chapter Operations, Assistant Dean of Students for Multicultural Affairs, Multicultural Greek Council Advisor, Events and Conference Services Coordinator, Residence Hall Manager, Program Assistant for Multicultural Affairs, and Coordinator of the Each One Reach One Mentorship program.

In addition to her professional roles, she has served as a volunteer alumnae advisor to Panhellenic, IFC, MGC and NPHC organizations, served on several policy, community and homeowner’s association boards, the Northeast Greek Leadership Association Board of Directors, ACPA - DCCPA Chapter Secretary, the Interpersonal Violence Prevention Program Advisory Board and Women As Change Agents at Howard. 

She is an engaging facilitator, compassionate mediator, committed advocate, perpetual learner, devoted educator and a dedicated professional, wife and mother!
