Biography

Dr. Lauren H. Collins, MPT, DPT, WCS, CLT is a Board-Certified Women’s Health Physical Therapist, educator, and healer with nearly 30 years of clinical experience and over two decades dedicated to women’s and pelvic health. A trauma-informed practitioner and certified lymphedema therapist, her work centers Black survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence, addressing pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic pain, and the embodied effects of trauma.

A proud Howard University alumna, Dr. Collins earned her Master’s in Physical Therapy in 1998 and her Doctorate in 2020. She serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Howard University in the Department of Physical Therapy.
