Biography

LaToya Turner is the Director of the Center for Career Excellence (CCE) at the School of Business.  Her responsibilities include managing the CCE corporate partnerships, career development programming and planning recruitment activities.  She joined Howard University in October 2020 and is a certified career coach. LaToya graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s in Hospitality Business.  Her experience includes working with companies such as MGM Resorts International, Walt Disney World, and Marriott.  Additionally, LaToya has been an adjunct professor in the Distance Learning department at Wayne County Community College District since 2006.
