Biography
Kevin Webb has served in higher education for over 15 years, creating cultures of equity, inclusion, and compliance through training, policy implementation, and organizational development and consulting. As Senior Compliance Specialist, Kevin leads OAC’s (non-Health Sciences-specific) compliance training initiatives and participates in other OAC initiatives, including risk assessments, departmental reviews, and investigations. Kevin joined OAC from the Title IX Office, where he implemented online discrimination, harassment, and sexual assault prevention training for all students, faculty, and staff, and facilitated hundreds of in-person and virtual presentations. Before he joined Howard, Kevin served as Training Manager in the Office of Civil Rights & Sexual Misconduct at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he implemented their first schoolwide disability & accessibility training and produced various education and awareness events in collaboration with a range of on- and off-campus partners. Prior to that, Kevin served as Human Resources Training Manager for The City University of New York (CUNY), where he managed professional development programs and training in sexual harassment, workplace violence, and domestic violence for CUNY’s 24 campuses.
Kevin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Organizational Behavior and Management from Brown University, and his Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from the Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs, Baruch College, CUNY.
