Biography

As the Senior Program Director, Ms. Wallace is responsible for the monitoring of grants and contracts burn rates, expenditure reports, resolving issues and challenges in compliance with sponsor expectations. Ms. Wallace In concert with the Senior Vice President for Research, chairs the Interoffice Research Committee on behalf of the Office of Research, which consists of all membership to cabinet-level officers, senior and middle level operations staff, and convenes bimonthly to discuss and resolve issues of strategic importance to the growth, volume, and visibility of the research enterprise.

Ms. Wallace has 18 years of professional experience in sponsored research to include proposal review, submissions, grants and contracts acceptance and negotiation, administration of industry sponsored research agreements, interpret and determine applicability of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR’’s) / Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS’s) for federal pass-through awards, subrecipient compliance monitoring, risk analysis/mitigation, cost analysis, federal contract solicitation review and response, and training.

Ms. Wallace is a graduate of Howard University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in economics.
