Biography

Karlens Edmond is an accomplished higher education professional and Ph.D. candidate in Higher Education Administration at Liberty University. With over a decade of experience in academic coordination, student services, and instruction.

His professional journey includes past roles as Director of Professional Development Schools and a First Year Instructor, where he demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, student advising, and strategic partnerships with local school districts and state agencies.

Karlens holds a Master’s degree in American History from Morgan State University and a Bachelor’s degree in American History from the University of Maryland, College Park. His strengths include strategic communication, academic advising, program coordination, and data-informed decision-making, with a passion for empowering underrepresented student populations in higher education.
