Biography

Jude D. Joseph is a Cyber Security Professional who has worked in the Information Technology and Cybersecurity field for over 30 years. Mr. Joseph currently works for Peraton as an Information Assurance and Security, Senior Advisor supporting the Department of Defense contracting in cybersecurity.  He is the Founder, President, and CEO of Sentinel Consulting Services, Inc. a small disadvantaged business to better serve federal, state, local and commercial clients through the provision of Information Technology Services and Mission-Oriented Business Services.  Jude was born & raised in Brooklyn, New York and is of Haitian descent. Mr. Joseph has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Computer-Based Information Systems from Howard University. He also has a Master of Science Degree in Information Technology, Graduate Certificates in Telecommunications Management and Information Assurance from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Mr. Joseph is currently a doctoral candidate (PhD) in Cybersecurity Leadership at Capitol Technology University. Jude has been an Adjunct Professor at Howard University’s School of Business Information Systems and Supply Chain Management Department since August 2021.  In his spare time, he is active in various community service-based organizations to include Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. (Gamma Pi Chapter), Social Lodge No. 1 in Washington, DC (Prince Hall Affiliated Masons), the 100 Black Men of Prince George's County, Inc., and auxiliary Dad for Jack and Jill of America, National Harbor Chapter. He is married with twin kids (boy and girl) and lives in Bowie, Maryland. Jude’s hobbies include running, cycling, traveling, and motorcycle riding.
