Dr. Jomah Watson

Biography

Jomah D. Watson, MBA., is a native of the Washington Metropolitan area and has been working in the industry of competitive sports/recreational programming for over 10 years. Mr. Watson received both his bachelors and master’s degrees in Business Sports Administration from Delaware State University in Dover, Delaware where he was also a collegiate athlete and lettered football player for the DSU Hornets. Jomah is currently working on is Doctorate in Education Leadership. Mr. Watson is currently working toward earning his Docotrate degree.

Through innovative and strategic planning, Jomah Watson served as the Coordinator of Competitive and Club Sports at his Alma Mater where he arranged local and regional tournaments, gained sponsorships and grants, managed the Wellness and Recreation Center’s facility operations and was held responsible for creating marketing campaigns and procedural manuals centered on intramural programming. Throughout His professional matriculation thus far, Jomah Watson serves as an active member and presenter in the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association, (NIRSA), he has been a lifetime fitness and wellness instructor for Delaware State University’s Early College High School, and he has received many certifications including American Red Cross First Aid and CPR training, Title IX Training, and Drug & Alcohol Abuse Training.  

Mr. Watson exudes a genuine interest in acting as an effective mentor to the upcoming generations at HBCUs and takes great pride in creating a safe, healthy, and friendly intramural clubs and sports activities environment.
