Biography

Jimisha Relerford is a proud alumna of Howard University (B.A. in English and Classics) and Georgia State University (M.A. in English). She is currently a PhD candidate in English at Howard. Her research interests include contemporary African diaspora literatures, Africana rhetorics, and archival studies. Ms. Relerford formerly served as a Master Instructor and Writing Center Director in the Department of English and Special Assistant to the Dean in the Graduate School. She now serves as Project Manager for the NOAA Cooperative Science Center in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology (NCAS-M II) and coordinates the Graduate School's Expository Writing Program.
