Biography
Professor Jasmine Young, MBA is "HipHopPreneur" and Marketing Strategist. She has over 25 years of Real World Experience in the Media & Entertainment Business. Young spent a large part of her career at Def Jam Records, an ICONIC Media Brand. She has created million dollar marketing campaigns for Multi-Platinum acts like Jay Z, DMX and BRONX NATIVE Slick Rick who is the most sampled artist in History.
Young is a communications specialist, avid public speaker and activist. She was awarded a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Innovation and Entrepreneurship) from Felician College and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communication from Howard University. She was recently Honored and featured in Def Jam's Women's Month campaign, a tribute celebrating those who contributed extensively to the organization's success. She has also received a very prestigious Congressional Citation Award from Congresswoman Yvette Harris, for her extensive work in our communities. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, INC.
