Gregory Manora is a dedicated advocate for veterans and a champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion. As the Veterans Affairs Coordinator at Howard University, Gregory brings a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted passion for serving others.
Gregory's journey led him to serve his country for 15 years in the Air Force, where he rose to the rank of Technical Sergeant before transitioning to civilian life. Throughout his military career, Gregory developed a keen awareness of the importance of diversity and inclusion, which became central to his professional ethos.
Prior to joining Howard University, Gregory held pivotal roles at esteemed organizations such as the Minority Business Development Agency within the Department of Commerce and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, where he served as the Director of the Executive Office and Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer. In each capacity, Gregory tirelessly advocated for underrepresented communities, spearheading initiatives to promote equity and empower individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Now, as the Veterans Affairs Coordinator at Howard University, Gregory is committed to broadening the military-connected community and revitalizing the institution's rich military history. He is dedicated to ensuring that veterans and their families receive the support and resources they need to thrive academically, professionally, and personally. Through his unwavering dedication, Gregory is instrumental in connecting students with invaluable opportunities for professional and personal development, fostering a campus environment that celebrates diversity and embraces inclusivity.
