Biography

Dr. Efosa C. Idemudia, an internationally known scholar, serves as the Chair of the Information Systems and Supply Chain Management Department at Howard University School of Business with tenure/faculty. Dr. Idemudia was a tenured Full Professor of Business Data Analytics and the Program Coordinator of Business Data Analytics & Marketing at Arkansas Tech University. Dr. Idemudia has chaired several committees, including the faculty policy committee in the College of Business at Arkansas Tech University. Dr. Idemudia serves in the Dean's Cabinet/Strategic Management Committee; and won Excellence in Research and Excellence in Service awards in the College of Business at Arkansas Tech University.

In addition, Dr. Idemudia served for years on the Faculty Senate at Arkansas Tech University; and was the previous Director of the Interdisciplinary Research Center (IRC) at Arkansas Tech University. Dr. Idemudia holds degrees from universities located on three different continents: a PhD in Management Information Systems from Texas Tech University, a Master’s in Computer Information Systems from the University of Texas at El Paso, an MBA in International Business from the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Benin.

He participated as a member of the University System of Georgia’s Academic Advisory Committee for Computer Disciplines for five years and is a member of Strathmore Who’s Who of Professionals. Dr. Idemudia taught both graduate and undergraduate students as a visiting scholar in the Computer Information Systems (CIS) Department at Georgia State University, which the U.S. News & World Report ranked within the top ten CIS departments in the United States.
