Biography

Dr. Dawn Smith, is Associate Professor and Chair in the Department of Dental Hygiene and faculty in the Department of Comprehensive Care at Howard University. Dr. Smith serves as a Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) site visitor having served as curriculum consultant and site visit chair.  She is also a member of the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE) test constructor committee as well as a Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grant reviewer.  Additionally, Dr. Smith is a Medical Sociologist.
