Biography
Dawn Goodman is an award-winning writer and fundraiser whose domestic and international work has established or elevated leading organizations in healthcare, education, and the arts for three decades. Her expertise in organizational change, community development and multicultural philanthropy inform her leadership coaching, technical assistance, capacity building and strategic thought partnership with entities serving marginalized populations around the globe including the Center for Nonprofit Advancement, Volunteers of America and the World Bank. With a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Howard University and Master of Divinity from Capital Seminary, where she is completing a Doctorate in Ministry focused on the cultural requirements of effective spiritual formation, she now oversees grant reporting processes and best practices across the HU enterprise – including the Center for Journalism & Democracy.
