Mr. Burnside’s primary research includes health disparities among men. He has a specific interest in prostate cancer among black men where he focuses on health literacy, barriers to screening, informed decision making and clinical trials. As a Senior Outreach Coordinator at Howard University, Clinton manages the “Men Take Ten” Men’s Health program. Through several HUCC programs, Mr. Burnside has educated thousands of individuals on various cancers, and several hundred men make the informed decision to be screened and seek additional healthcare services each year in the Washington, DC area.
