Clarisse Barbier, PH.D.

Biography

Dr Clarisse Barbier is a professor of French and Intro to Humanity at Howard University. She obtained her Master's and Ph.D. in Applied Anthropology from the University of South Florida. She obtained a Fulbright in 2017 and conducted 16 months of research in Burkina Faso focusing on social exclusion of women accused of witchcraft. She has been a consultant for various NGOs in Burkina Faso and Uganda.
