Biography

Carol Porter, Ph.D., is a full-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Laboratory Science in the College of Nursing and Allied Health at Howard University. Her specialty areas include Immunohematology/Blood Bank, Urinalysis & Body Fluids, and Intro to CLS.   She received her B.S. in Medical Technology from Northeastern University, a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, and her Ph.D. in Mass Communication from Howard University.  Her research included HIV/AIDS in Africa, Health Communication, and HIV Mass Media Campaigns.
