Biography

Charrosé King-Mathews is a full-time lecturer at Howard University’s Cathy Hughes School of Communications. She is a graphic designer and communications specialist with work experience in public education, international development, mental health, and higher ed.  

 

King-Mathews earned a bachelor's degree from Parsons School of Design in Communication Design and a master's degree from Georgetown University in Public Relations and Corporate Communications. She is a PhD student in Communication, Culture, and Media Studies at Howard University’s Cathy Hughes School of Communications. She is working on her dissertation, which is a film analysis and autoethnography about the representation of autistic Black girls in TV and movies.
