Welcome to the Howard University People Profile website, a project sponsored by the Office of the Provost and the Digital Strategy & Web Services.  Within this site, Howard faculty, staff, and soon, graduate students, can create and maintain their own public profiles.

Each profile contains fields for:

  • Name
  • Contact information
  • Profile photo
  • Department/office

A profile can also include school/college affiliation, publications, resumes/CVs, educational/professional background, research interest, expertise, a short biography, and a link to a social media account or to another relevant website, and more.

Why Participate?

We believe that one of Howard’s most valuable assets is its people and the site’s purpose is to showcase our people to the world, as well as internally. For example, it will help prospective students find out about the work of their potential future professors/mentors/advisors.  It could also assist existing Howard students and faculty learn about the work of fellow Howardites and even inspire interdisciplinary projects.
