Biography

Morgan M. Bryant, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Marketing in the Howard University School of Business. Dr. Bryant teaches Principles of Marketing and other undergraduate and graduate courses in related areas. Prior to joining the faculty at Howard University, she taught Market Research and Marketing Analytics at Saint Joseph’s University and Entertainment Economics and Social Media Analytics at Belmont University.

Dr. Bryant’s research examines three primary areas: (1) consumer behavior in digital and entertainment-driven contexts; (2) the role of diversity, identity, and access in shaping marketplace experiences; and (3) innovative and inclusive approaches to marketing education. Her research has appeared in publications including Business Horizons, Journal of Macromarketing, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and American Journal of Arts Management, among others.

Prior to her academic career, Dr. Bryant accumulated more than thirteen years of professional experience in consumer market research and strategic decision analysis, working with Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. She continues to apply her research and analytical expertise through consulting engagements with corporate and nonprofit organizations, including Black Girls Code, PMA Insurance Group, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the National Museum of African American Music, and the Give A Note Foundation.
