Mrs. Harper is a native of Washington, D.C., where she was born and raised. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Cheyney University of Pennsylvania in 2015 and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Bowie State University in 2019. She is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Management at the School of Business.

Since joining Howard University in 2018, Mrs. Harper has demonstrated a strong commitment to institutional excellence. She was appointed to serve on the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts Dean Search Committee—first by former President Wayne A. I. Frederick in 2020, and again by President Ben Vinson III, Ph.D., in 2024. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, she was honored with the Dean’s Excellence in Service Award in 2025.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Mrs. Harper enjoys fitness, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband.
