Biography
Dr. Patrice Greene has over a decade of experience in higher education and 7+ years of experience in research and consulting. Before joining Howard University, Patrice was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of the District of Columbia, working on a $1.6 million National Science Foundation-funded grant. Additionally, she has worked as a Grant Writing Consultant with the Black Mill, assisting nonprofit organizations with writing and submitting proposals for state, federal, corporate, and private foundation grants. As a researcher, her experience encompasses qualitative, mixed-methods, and archival projects, exploring topics related to STEM, HBCUs, college access, and college retention. Her experience as a researcher has provided her with expertise in synthesizing extensive data to craft compelling narratives for grant proposals.
Patrice has a Ph.D. in Higher Education, Student Affairs, and International Education Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park, a Master of Arts in Higher Education from the University of Denver, and a Bachelor’s in General Studies from Texas Christian University.
