Biography

Nick Seifert is an award-winning writer, editor, and educator whose fiction has appeared various print and online publications including Booth, Fourteen Hills, and the print anthology That’s Absurd!. As former Managing Editor of The Amistad Literary Arts Journal, he expanded readership and created new opportunities for emerging writers. He's a teacher that encourages students to refine their creative voices. Nick's scholarship includes a peer-reviewed chapter on experiential learning in Teaching Humanities With Cultural Responsiveness at HBCUs and HSIs. Through writing, teaching, and editorial work, he celebrates storytelling and fosters diverse creative communities.
