Biography

I am a researcher in Electrical and Computer Engineering, currently working as Post Doctoral Fellow at Howard University, Washington, D.C. My academic journey began in Electronics and Communication Engineering, and my doctoral research focuses on Machine Vision and Artificial Intelligence. My work focuses on applying AI to real-world challenges, including vision-enabled prosthetic hands, exoskeleton systems, and AI-driven underwater microplastic detection. Beyond academia, I have six years of industry experience, including a role as a Senior Software Engineer, where I led teams and contributed to software solutions across various domains. My contributions have been recognized with awards such as the President's Challenge at Clarkson University and Employee of the Month at PRAN-RFL Group. My research interests span AI, computer vision, and embedded systems, with a focus on developing innovative, real-world applications that bridge the gap between research and industry. Looking ahead, I aim to contribute to advancements in Electrical and Computer Engineering through research and technical innovation.
