Biography

Kellie Farster is a Principal and Project Manager at Walter P Moore with over 20 years of experience in structural engineering. She leads structural analysis, design, and project management for new construction and renovations across sectors including retail, education, and healthcare projects. Before joining Walter P Moore in 2021, she worked at SK&A Structural Engineers in Washington, DC, and Cannon Design in Buffalo, NY.

Kellie currently serves as Secretary for SEAMW’s Board of Directors, chairs SEA-MW’s Community Outreach Committee, and contributes to NCSEA’s and SEAMW’s SE3 and SEER committees. She also serves on DC Public Schools’ Career and Technical Education Industry Advisory Board, CREW DC’s Student Outreach Committee, and teaches Howard University’s Civil and Environmental Engineering Senior Design course.
