Biography

Janvier Tchommo is a Lecturer in the Department of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management at Howard University’s School of Business. Prior to joining Howard, he taught for nine years in the College of Business at James Madison University.

Before entering academia, he accumulated more than twelve years of professional experience in engineering, production and operations management, as well as project management. He worked in both the private and public sectors, gaining extensive hands-on expertise across diverse operational contexts. Notably, he also served for four years as an Engineer Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces and was the co-founder of an engineering firm.
