Biography
Etoulia Salas-Burnett is a Howard alumna, educator, and strategic technologist shaping the future of tech education. She serves as the inaugural Executive Director of the Center for Digital Business at Howard University, where she leads programs that connect academic excellence with emerging technology. Her work includes AI-integrated coursework, digital skills labs, and hands-on partnerships with industry leaders.
She also leads The Yard @ AfroTech, a multi-year initiative positioning HBCUs at the forefront of research, entrepreneurship, and innovation in tech. The program creates year-round opportunities for Black students and alumni to grow, connect, and lead in the tech space.
A proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Etoulia holds a master’s degree in education from the University of Pennsylvania. She also shares practical insights on digital habits, systems thinking, and AI through Etoulia Talks Tech, her platform focused on culture-forward tech education.
