Biography

Dr. Ella Wagner is an award-winning public historian and the Research Manager for the Institute for Advanced Study. Her research focuses on the intersections of gender, race, and immigration policy, and her wide-ranging public history work has been recognized by the National Council on Public History and the National Park Service. Dr. Wagner earned a PhD in US History and Public History from Loyola University Chicago in 2022.
