Biography
Dawn Goodman is an award-winning writer and fundraiser whose domestic and international work has established or elevated leading organizations in healthcare, education, and the arts for three decades. Her expertise in organizational change, community development, and multicultural philanthropy informs her leadership coaching, technical assistance, and capacity building with entities serving marginalized populations around the globe, including the Center for Nonprofit Advancement, Volunteers of America, and the World Bank. Dawn is a proud Howard Bison with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Additionally, Dr. Goodman holds a Master of Divinity (MDiv) and a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) from Capital Seminary, where she conducted research on the cultural requirements of effective spiritual formation. She currently leads the Institutional Stewardship team within Development & Alumni Relations (DAR), with the goal of exceptional institutional funding application, compliance, reporting, and stewardship.
