Dr. Otolorin is a board-certified family physician and board-eligible clinical informatician. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community and Family Medicine at Howard University. He received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Virginia. He received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and master’s degree in Bioengineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia. He completed his family medicine residency training at Howard University, Washington, DC. His interests are at the intersection of medicine, informatics, technology, and health disparities. Dr. Otolorin leverages his unique ability to integrate his knowledge and skills in computer science, clinical informatics, data science, and medicine. He possesses the rare ability to engage in-depth analysis and collaboration involving information systems (i.e. from data structures to solutions architecture) and patient care (i.e. from the bedside to populations) which ensures alignment of organizational goals, resources, and outcomes. He currently serves as the Interim Chief Medical Information Officer for Howard University Hospital.
